"The Javanese Bull" - Collage Art Giclee Print
Inspired by the Indonesian folktale of The Javanese Bull, this limited-edition giclee print represents the adage of how creative thinking and innovation can overcome what seems to be an impossible feat. When the Javanese invaded Sumatra, their conquest was all but certain. That is until the proposition was made to have the best bulls of each land fight each other instead of engaging in bloody war. The Javanese agreed knowing they had superior bovine. However, the Sumatrans fixed knives to the head of a calf and presented it as their bull. The Sumatrans laughed until the calf approached their bull and attempted to suckle. The knives impaled the impressively strong bull and won the day.
